Keep tripping over your jump rope?
Before you decide it's not for you, check the small things.
Rope size. Hand position. How high you jump.

A few simple adjustments can make a big difference.

I put together a free guide with the 7 tips I wish someone had given me on day one, plus video demonstrations so you can see exactly what to do.

You’ll learn the basics, find your rhythm, and start building a habit that sticks.

It's short, helpful, and easy to follow.

Sometimes the fastest way to improve is to stop trying to do more.šŸ¤”
Master one before chasing 10.
It’s not always about how many you can do.
It’s about how well you can do them.
Are you practicing double unders or just trying to survive them?
Let me know.

Strength, stamina, or timingā¤µļø
Which gives you the most trouble? šŸ¤”

Burpees, Navy Seal burpees, or double unders: which is hardest for you, and why?

Stop waiting to feel ready.

There’s no version of you that wakes up one day already good at this.

You don’t get ready and then start. You start, and getting ready happens along the way.

The first session is supposed to feel awkward. You’ll trip. You’ll lose the rhythm. Your timing will be all over the place.

That’s not a sign you’re bad at it. That’s just what the beginning looks like, for everybody.

So start where you are:

šŸ‘‰ Pick the rope up
šŸ‘‰ Give yourself five minutes
šŸ‘‰ Trip, reset, keep going

Five honest minutes today beats a perfect plan you never start.

Everyone starts somewhere. The only people who get good are the ones who were willing to be bad at it first. šŸ’Ŗ

Jumping rope isn't just your legs.

Your upper body, your timing, your posture. It all has to work together on every single jump.

Add the boxer step, side swings, crossovers or double unders, and your hands and feet have to sync up even more.

That's one of the things I love about jump rope. You can't fake the coordination. If something's off, the rope lets you know straight away.

Want to learn it the right way? I put together a free 7 day jump rope series to get you started.

Comment "7DAYS" and I'll send it straight to your DMs.

Your body adapts to what you repeatedly ask it to do.
The more you move, the more your body wants to move.
The more sit, the more your body wants to sit.
šŸ’”Food for Thought…
Progress doesn’t always mean doing MORE; more push-ups, etc.
Sometimes it means doing things DIFFERENTLY.
Change the angle, tempo, or position, and suddenly a familiar exercise like the push-up presents a whole new challenge.
What’s your favorite push-up variation and why?
Send this to someone who thinks push-ups are boring.

6 more jump rope moves to master (Part 2)

Got Part 1 down? Here’s where it gets fun:

1ļøāƒ£ Cross Step
2ļøāƒ£ Jumping Jack
3ļøāƒ£ Behind the Back
4ļøāƒ£ Running Crosses
5ļøāƒ£ 360
6ļøāƒ£ Cross Double Under

These build on everything from Part 1. Crossovers lead into double unders, and double unders set you up for the harder skills like the cross double under and the 360.

Which move are you going to try next? Let me know in the comments šŸ‘‡

Comment ā€œYOUTUBEā€ and I’ll send you the full video with all 15 moves.

Smileā€¦šŸ’©happens.
Enjoy the process… ā¤µļø
But launch and land on the balls of your feet, keep your arms in, rotate the rope with your wrists, don’t jump too high, slight bend in your knees, maintain a light grip on the handles, and focus on rhythm, etc….šŸ˜šŸ˜†
