This is the shirt I made for my daughter almost a year ago. Not being able to see my kids because of my addiction, I still wanted to be in their life. During my journey, I made a simple shirt for her just like the one below below. To remind her I'm not gone, I'm on my way back. After making it, I realized I forgot to mirror image the picture of us with the writing. Eventually I stood in front of the mirror to read it and that's when it came to me. This shirt was just for her. Made for her, to her. Anyone else can figure out what it says, but when my daughter stands Infront of the mirror, she knows she's Daddy's Girl.
Now being sober for over 4 months, going strong and confident, I'm hoping this same idea can help others in the struggle. Reinforce their confidence. Or even their own support when no one else is there to be there. The website, justforu.me is still under construction, but should be populated with our newing ideas including sobriety quotes, inspiration quotes, funny, and rugged writing. We also are designing qr codes stating a variety of statements about sobriety, ones progress, and general mind your own business, f**k off statements. Like I said, the site is under construction so please check back often. What is on is available for purchase right now. Also we will be donating a percentage to a local facility that provides help to those struggling with addiction. That has yet to be established. So enjoy the preview and check back often.
