This is absolutely great!

A federal jury awarded $12.69 million to a former Blue Cross Blue Shield employee who said she was fired for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine on religious grounds.

Lisa Domski, a Catholic woman who spent more than three decades with the company, argued that the vaccines conflicted with her beliefs due to their connection to fetal cell lines associated with abortion research. Despite working fully remotely as an IT specialist, her request for a religious exemption was denied and she was terminated in 2022.

The jury found that Blue Cross Blue Shield violated federal religious discrimination laws, with attorneys criticizing the company's vaccine mandate as a rigid
"one-size-fits-all" policy.

The ruling is now being viewed by opponents of vaccine mandates as a significant win for religious freedom and workplace accommodation rights.

Thank all of you for your prayers and support! After a long night of pain and suffering from what James believed to be his prostate cancer blowing wild again, we made an early morning trip to the cancer center. His doctor was out til next week, so a trip to Pikeville ER had to be made, as that is where James’s urologist is. (Hazard doesn’t have one). Once there and in back, tests are ordered, and as an IV is being started, it’s determined that he’s dehydrated. Hehas a pretty blue bruise to prove it 🥴 They finally get the IV going with rapid flowing fluids & a trip to CT. Before the scan results are back, he passes two, yes 2, kidney stones! They did send them off for testing, to make sure of their components. Kidney stones are usually and commonly made up of calcium, but, because James has metastatic bone cancer, they want to be sure it isn’t from deteriorating bone. At least that’s how we understood what the doctor was trying to explain to two old hillbillies. Now, as for all the cancer talk, I’m a firm believer that God has this under control just as He’s maintained for the past 14 years. There may be bumps in the road, like today, but my faith is unwavering. God reminds us sometimes that we need to see He is still in control. It’s not in our hands to try and meddle with! Again, thank you all for the prayers, and God bless each and everyone of you! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
