Today was Barefoot Blessings Co.’s last market. And honestly? It really sucks to even say that.

We showed up with what was probably our cutest setup yet. Everything was so us. So much time, effort, and money poured into it… and we barely made back our vendor fee.

It’s frustrating watching people pay to get into an event just to walk right past vendor tents without even a second glance. Like… not even a look. Or when someone stops in front of your tent, and says “weird”, looks around and walks out without saying another word.

We’re beyond thankful for the few sales we did make and the people who stopped, talked, and supported us. Y’all truly matter more than you know. But after this show, we’re taking a step back. We’re going to reevaluate everything. What’s worth our time, what makes sense, and what actually makes us happy. Because right now, this just doesn’t feel sustainable… and it definitely doesn’t feel good.

We started this because we loved it. And somewhere along the way, it started feeling more disappointing than fulfilling and that’s not what we want. So for now, we’re hitting pause, taking a breath, and figuring out what’s next for us.
