😍🙌 This gorgeous, mid-century modern desk is from Lane’s Copenhagen collection. It is made with beautiful, medium-toned walnut and walnut veneer. The versatile design of the drop-leaf design can be raised to provide more workspace. It has two dovetailed drawers with brass pulls and iconic tall brass caps on its legs.

The Copenhagen line was produced by the Lane Furniture company from roughly 1957 to 1960. From the Lane advertisement: Lane designers have caught the very spirit of the age in Copen-hagen... the celebrated collection of occasional tables that blends the new mood of soft grace with the fresh, clean lines of young modern. The wood is Softone Walnut, warmed to Lane’s deep gleam finish. The lines flow and sweep upwards in continuing beauty. Twelve different styles-all with exquisite details, from the rounded contours framed and edged with beading to the molded stretchers pierced through tapered legs tipped with brass ferrules.
All over America young homemakers and families have found in Copenhagen the answer to taste and quality at modest prices.

I have the matching coffee table from the advertisement. It needs a repair but it’s also available!

This desk is in very good condition. It has a few blemishes particularly on the drop leaf. Structurally it is in excellent condition.

It’s our annual sidewalk sale! 🙌 Happening during Septemberfest Soapbox Derby
Please help us clear out our inventory. Items will be garage sale priced and open to negotiation.

IMPORTANT:
Sale starts at 11am on Friday September 11. NO EARLY SHOPPING OR DISCUSSING ITEMS WITH VENDORS. We need the hours leading up to the sale to set up. The sale will be taped off until opening at 11am. Please stay behind the tape.

Cash is preferred. You can pay by card, phone, and Venmo inside the shop, but outside is cash only.

EVERYTHING IS FREE ON SATURDAY! New this year—come haul away our leftover goods. From 10-5 on Saturday the items out on the sidewalk are FREE!

LA Period Bedroom Set 🤗💛
The elusive pair of nightstands 😱. I don’t know why, but an original pair of MCM nightstands is really hard to come by. Gorgeous straw-colored wood with beautiful contrasting wood grain. These pieces are in very good shape. There are two black marks on one and a lighter streak in the wood on the other. Structurally excellent condition as these pieces were built to last. The oval brass pulls sit flush with the drawers and have been refinished.

20” wide x 15” deep x 22” tall

This is a bedroom set including a lowboy dresser, tallboy dresser, two nightstands, and a mirror. Would prefer selling as a set.

Made of solid hard mountain ash, which refers to durable Australian eucalyptus timber, commonly marketed internationally as Tasmanian oak or Victorian ash, known for its strength, straight grain, and light blonde to pale pinkish-brown color.

LA Period furniture was a regional furniture supplier based in Southern California. Peaked during the post-WWII mid-century boom (1950s–1960s) when Southern California saw rapid suburban housing development.

The five-drawer tallboy dresser. Gorgeous straw-colored wood with beautiful contrasting wood grain. This piece is in very good shape. There is a water ring on the top of the dresser. Structurally excellent condition as these pieces were built to last. The oval brass pulls sit flush with the drawers and have been refinished. The top two drawers feature a classic circular recessed pull with a flat backing.

36” wide x 18” deep x 43.25” tall

This is a bedroom set including a lowboy dresser, tallboy dresser, two nightstands, and a mirror. Would prefer selling as a set.

The nine-drawer lowboy dresser. Gorgeous straw colored wood with beautiful contrasting wood grain. This piece is in very good shape. There are two cosmetic flaws on the top of the dresser. Structurally excellent condition as these pieces were built to last. The oval brass pulls sit flush with the drawers and have been refinished. The smaller drawers feature a classic circular recessed pull with a flat backing.
