I made and shared this wrap skirt last summer and it’s still going strong as a perfect lightweight summer essential. Paired it in Mexico with a ribbed tank from Amazon. If you read my last post you know how I am about what I buy fast fashion, but I actually own two of these tanks (white and grey). They’re 95/5 ribbed cotton spandex, nice weight and actually good. I added it to my link if you wanna try it. As usual there’s no guarantee you’ll like it, but I’d say this one is actually a higher chance you will than the last top. 😆 Swipe for some more ways I’ve worn them.

Earlier this month at the movie theater and an honest review of this Amazon wrap top from a sewist. Yes, I do buy fast fashion clothes occasionally, but I’m very picky about fabric content and usually have to search for soooo long on Amazon to find things that aren’t polyester. I managed to find this 95/5 cotton spandex wrap top recently. The cover stitching at the sleeve hems isn’t the best but hasn’t unraveled… yet. It’s a thin material but I don’t mind since I wear it layered. I may order more colors, but I am also contemplating making some myself when I get some sewing time. I also love wearing it over my workout bra tops when I want a coverup. Okay so I’m not an influencer but thought I’d share, so I’ll link it in my Amazon shop if you wanna try it out. You don’t have to do the comment thing and unlike influencers I’d like to mention there is no guarantee that you’ll like it for yourself. 🤣 If you’ve read this far- last slide is my husband who has mentioned he would like to see this movie again. 😘

Loved when our schedule was play/relax all day and dress up for dinner. I made and shared this dress last summer but this summer I added the cinch on the top section to change it up (that’s how the pattern is). Also swipe to the end because my son. 😆

Adventures in my new green bikini. I sewed this up really quick before our trip and was happily surprised to match nature so well. 💚 Jumping into the cool water of the Cenote after a hot visit to the Tulum ruins was so refreshing.

Top pattern: Edgewater Avenue | Swimwear Sewing Patterns Ally. I love how secure it is.

Must swipe for Now & Then- 16 years ago. Both times wearing tops I’ve sewn.

Then: A tee I sewed a bunch of ruffles onto for an Anthro look alike.

Now: My linen tie back top. It’s been a while and we’ve been through a lot, but I think we’ve had a glow up! 😆 Plus we’ve added all these amazing kids.

I’m much more serious about sun protection. You can catch me in my hats anytime I’m outside.

My new linen Winnie dress that got to make its debut on vacation.

This was my first time sewing one of Annie’s Sewing Studio • Digital sewing patterns patterns and I love it so much I already bought two more of her dress patterns. The scallop hem version of this pattern is also so cute, but I opted for just a simple quick sew this time around.

Back to school and I miss them already. We have a high schooler this year and I’m not sure how that happened already. 🥹
