So much history in Hickory North Carolina....In the 1850's under a huge hickory tree, Henry Robinson built a cabin of logs. The town of "hickory tavern" was established. It was 1863. TSG Finishing, LLC parent of DEFEND born in 1901 moved operations to Hickory in the 1950's. Always tuck it in, all of these American made companies, in these American small towns and communities. May not always be in the news per se, but a lot happens all over our country off these beaten paths. The city of Hickory is celebrating it's very own, Hickory City Walk. Happy Holidays City Of Hickory!

Hickory's City Walk is officially open! Yesterday, the Hickory community celebrated this historic milestone with a ribbon cutting and illuminated the iconic bridge, now named the Rudy Wright Bridge.

Moving along, TSG Finishing, LLC and DEFEND's COO Benjamin Harris and Sales Manager Ben Fite spent a day at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America (CSI) and co-located show Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo America (CSH) located in Miami by Elite Exhibitions last week. Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America (CSI) is the first and only expo and conference in North America to provide a platform exclusively dedicated to the entire cruise interiors industry, enabling key players to meet under one roof. Welcoming world-leading cruise lines, interior design studios, outfitting firms, and shipyards to enjoy two days of unrivaled "come together" at a time most pressing in our world.
