Hello Lake Lovers!
I know I've awol for awhile.... and I do apologize for my absence. Last year 2020 was, well, it was what it was...most of you know I have chronic/severe asthma and with this virus, I needed ta do what I could ta protect myself as well as you. Now, 2021, we had full intentions of a great year with you all, but God had other plans tha we needed ta adjust our lives around His Path... we haven't gone public with our situation, but since it has gotten out, we figured it was time. A few weeks back Marty was at tha Shop aka Marty's Muffler and was working on a vehicle, and a freak accident caused him ta break his neck. The surgeon said the accident nearly severed his spinal cord and did cause him ta loose 80% of his mobility in his leggs and 90% of tha use of his arms & hands amongst a few other issues... Since his surgery he has gained about 20% more use of his leggs, but we are still waiting for tha swelling ta go down and are Praying tha he gains more use if his arms & hands. Many of you know that Marty is'a workhorse and this has really thrown him down in more ways tha one. So along with tha physical we are working thru tha mental & emotional issues, which is tough for any person, but I think worse for a man sometimes. So, many of you I'm sure have seen that we have put our Cabin & Store up for sale, as I just can't physically take care of it all by myself right now, so, we are hoping that it can find someone ta love it and work it and make it their own. So... Please keep us in your Prayers and if you have any friends that are looking for a place at tha lake please tell them about tha Roberts Cabin and Sugarloaf Key!!! Thank you and know that we dearly miss you all....
