This gorgeous busted up vintage tureen was marked $12!!! Soooo of course I grabbed it. I’ve been wanting to create a centerpiece with Orchids for my dining room table-I am totally obsessed with Orchids.
The bowl had very bad dents in it and cracks( this is the after if you can believe that)
I’ve always wondered what happened to these pieces?!?!
Anyway, I knew she had to be mine and for $12, I could try to fix and create what I had in my head.
I knew I did not want just one paint color so I mixed a bunch of my favorites-I’m loving the different hues of greens & blue.
No gold leaf for this one, I loved how it looked without. It’s stuffed with three Orchids, in plastic containers and filled with orchid potting mix-course blend!
I love how it turned out!!!
