Dust off your tools, heat up your kiln, roll out some clay and start making...you could win over £3,500!

We’re collecting entries for Aida’s 16th Silver Accessories Contest 2019!

The theme choices for this years contest are ‘COLOURFUL CONTRAST’ or 'Open Theme' (which is exactly as it sounds, open to any theme or concept that you can dream up!).

This contest has been held since 1999, and has seen 6,655 entries - will this be the year we see you win? Over the last 15 competitions there has been several Grand Prix winners from Europe. The UK's very own Joy Funnell won the Grand Prix in 2015 and even visited Tokyo to attend the exhibition and receive her award!

CONTEST GUIDELINES

QUALIFICATION:
Everyone is welcome! This includes Art Clay certified instructors, students, hobbyists and professional artists. Unfortunately no submissions by groups of artists are accepted.

MEDIA:
All pieces must use Art Clay silver as the main material but can combine Art Clay Silver with other media.

DESIGN:
Designs must be original and completed by one's own skill. Pieces that have been previously submitted to other competitions, exhibitions, magazines, books, or posted on social media sites will be disqualified. You must submit something new!

AWARDS:
15 different prizes are awarded - top prize earns 500,000 Japanese Yen!!

APPLICATION PROCESS:
The entry fee is £59.00 (this includes 1 free contest booklet which will include your project in print!). All entries must be sent to us here at Metal Clay Ltd by
1 August 2019 along with completed application form.
