Hey everybody! This here is a very rotted out red oak fork. All the wood that was left, though, was still very solid. I stuck the fork on my lathe and shaped it out a bit. Then, I closed it all up with duct tape and poured in some blue pearlescent resin to fill all the voids. I then turned it on the lathe again, added a butt cap made from the same resin, and added a clear coat. I'm pretty happy with how this nontraditionally shaped slingshot turned out. Here's a pair I made using a resin slab formed using some scraps of a few failed resin slingshots. I split an oak fork and laminated the resin to the two halves. Pretty happy with these as I prefer not to waste good resin. Lol. Thanks for looking! Hit me up if interested!
