March is here! Spring is almost here! Really need to get that sewing space ready to get some Spring colors in your home and your wardrobe. It is such a great feeling to make something new.
I love shopping all the new fabrics and colors for Spring. Although, I don’t really need any new material, I still love to look and imagine what I could make. Mom always said, “It never hurts to look.” She was a wonderful window shopper. Lol

Want to wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day! Hard to believe February is almost half over.
It is time to really look at your sewing room and do some spring cleaning. Please box up your scrap material and donate them to your favorite thrift store. So many people love scrap material for projects that just need a small piece of material.
Also time to look at your spring and summer clothing. Repair or place.
Grandma Atkinson told me Spring is the time of renewal. The Earth and the home need to cleaned and wait for the new. We get our home cleaned out and our gardens planted. We also need to clean our sewing rooms, trust me, you will feel better and renewed!

Thanksgiving is over. November is almost over.
Getting down to the wire for the Christmas list sewing. Take a good look at what you have left to do. Plan well for everyday sewing.
Don’t get caught without a gift not finish, like I have a couple of times. lol
Check your list just like Santa Clause, so you don’t forget someone special. That is also happened to me!
Above all else, enjoy your sewing. Putting a lot of love in that special gift will make you and someone happy.

November is here! Better get that sewing machine running! Make a new tablecloth for Thanksgiving, new placemats and new napkins. Decorate the table to match your wonderful dinner.
Remember, I hate to say it, Christmas is just around the corner. My Christmas list got bigger again this year with a new Great Grandson. Just starting my Christmas sewing now. I know, I know, I am really behind this year. Granddaughter getting married this last September backed me up just a tad.
Also, November 15th there is going to be a benefit for one our good friend’s granddaughter. If you can attend, it will be at the American Legion in Farmington, IA. Check it out!
Enjoy that sewing machine and keep it humming ….
