It’s so funny how people come into your lives. I met this beautiful lady at a craft show we were both vendors at years ago. I enjoyed visiting with her, but would not see her again for a few more years. Then a chance meeting outside a store reconnected us.
I think one thing that makes us such good friends is that we are like minded. She is a “creative” like me, so she gets me and all my “junk”. LOL
This woman also has such a love for God and strives to live as God wants her to and shares this with the world. If you haven’t seen her page The Creators Pearl you really need to check it out.
Just recently we decided to start a new adventure together decorating, organizing, staging and painting (cabinets/rooms). We’re still in the baby stages, but getting it all worked out.
I have learned a lot from Shyla Kourt and feel so blessed to have her in my life.

I think I have officially lost my mind or smelled to many paint fumes. 😬 I saw this idea awhile back and thought it was a cute idea, so i found an old grill and thought....why not?!?! I’m seeing a bright colorful basket of flowers in it.

What did you have for lunch?? How about a nice green salad, cheesy baked chicken, loaded mashed potatoes, green beans, French bread and a yummy chocolate chip cookie delight for dessert!!! Well, that’s what we, Country Caterers (my mom and me) served for the Lookeba Sickles teachers, faculty and staff. Catering is my third job. Lol we do weddings, reunions, graduations and company parties.

I am an only child and my mom says I use to tell people when they would ask if I had any brothers or sisters that I was a “lonely” child. I always wanted a sister to play with and share secrets with.
Well, I guess God thought I was was finally ready for one at the ripe old age of 46. I swear she is my soul sister and I love her to death.
She puts up with a lot of craziness from me at times. We have the best times when we are together and she always encourages me in whatever I do.
I am so glad we met Naomi Nichols, best soul sister in the world.

Spent my day “adulting” today, running errands, sorting through stuff and had to go buy a new battery for my lawnmower. I would have much rather been painting and getting stuff ready for my show in a couple of weeks, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Can’t wait to do this at our clients house.

Going to do this look in a clients bathroom. We will use grey and white though. And we are painting the linoleum with Heirloom Traditions Finish All product.

What can I say....this beautiful lady has been a part of my life since I was sixteen years old.
We have seen each other through some of the best times of our lives and some of the hardest times of our lives.
She is someone I can share anything with and she is the person I call if I ever need advice about something, a shoulder to cry on or just to vent about life struggles.
She is truly the best friend a girl could ever have. Thanks for everything Tricia Lawson. Love You Bunches!!!😘

I LOVE to decorate and many times my friends and family will ask me to help when decorating a room. I recently helped my mom with her living room and this is my favorite vignette I did in her room. We originally bought this dresser to be a vanity in her bathroom, but after I painted it and antiqued it, I think it looks pretty good here.
