✨ BackRoad Outfitters Co. Weekly Small Business Spotlight ✨

One of my biggest goals has always been supporting our local small business community, and I’m excited to officially launch my Weekly Small Business Spotlight!

Each week, I’ll feature a local business that has either been recommended by the community or requested to participate. My hope is to help introduce these amazing businesses to more people while encouraging everyone to shop local.

Whenever possible, I’ll meet with the business owner for a short interview-style video to share their story, what they offer, and what makes their business unique. I’ll also create a post featuring photos and a rundown of the business so you can learn more and discover someone new to support.

There is so much talent, hard work, and passion in our community, and I can’t wait to help shine a light on it.

This week’s Small Business Spotlight is someone whose passion for supporting local businesses truly shines!

She is an advertising specialist who proudly says she specializes in SMALL BUSINESS—and she means it. To her, small businesses are the heart of every community, and helping them rebuild, grow, thrive, and succeed is what she’s most passionate about.

Although Jones County is home, her family’s military journey has taken them all over the world, from Fort Hood to Hawaii and everywhere in between. Along the way, she saw firsthand just how important local businesses are—not only to the people who own them but to the communities and local economies they help build. That inspired her to become the change she wanted to see by helping small businesses gain the visibility and support they deserve.

One of my favorite things she shared was the word “compersion”—finding genuine joy in the success of others. I think that perfectly describes the heart behind what she does, and it’s something I can definitely relate to.

She’s excited to be featured during the week of her birthday.
