I Love the beautiful colors and pattern in the prom dress that I’m working on! So pretty!

A custom wedding dress that I had the privilege of helping create. She brought me a red skirt with black tulle overlay, a white corset, satin fabric, lace, and gold appliques.

She asked me to cover the corset in the satin and add the lace to make it similar to a halter top, and then add appliques to both the top and the skirt.

A hooded towel with delicate lace! Excited to gift this to a family expecting a little girl in the near future!

Alas, I don’t have a wee one anymore to use as a model, so my teenager had to fill in. The days go by quickly! Treasure the time with your little ones!

I wanted to improve my hand beading skills for when people bring me beaded gowns to alter, so Adel and I took a hand beading class. Here you can see our samplers as well as some of the samples the teacher had available for us to look at.

Sometimes I have to take a break from formal wear and alterations for others to bring delight to my own family. This guy loves zippered hoodies! So I took a non-zippered hoodie that wasn’t going to be worn and added a zipper!

This jacket needed the zipper replaced. I was also asked to take it in some at the hips and to recline the pockets with a warm fabric. The pockets got a nice soft minky lining in them.

My daughter is raffling off this quilt to earn money for doing pottery. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets.

Adel has another quilt that she will be raffling. The top was made by her grandma, and Adel will be doing the quilting on it.

This quilt will be entered in a quilt show in June prior to being shipped to the raffle winner. The proceeds from the raffle will be used to pay for Adel to continue refining her pottery skills.
