As we drove home from a Hans Zimmer concert in Tampa the other evening, a Purple Alert highway sign was highlighting this awareness. I googled it to see exactly what it meant and here is the answer.
It made me think of how important it is for everyone to have emergency contacts registered including those with special needs.
If you or someone you know fits this criteria, PLEASE PLEASE share TIFF To Inform Families First with them and how to add their emergency contacts.
If you work for or have an agency that deals with those with special needs alert those you serve to this program and help them be aware.
It's all of us helping others Be Aware and Be Prepared for if and when an emergency happens.
