baby mama sew shop Paula here, owner, designer and maker of handmade bags, clutches and scarves for you mamas and your little loves. God has rescued me many times and made me new.

I started down this creative journey about 3 years ago after giving birth to my first child and leaving my full time job. I had spent many years being a social worker and helping children who had been abused or neglected but I felt it was time to give myself fully to my own family. It brings me such joy to be able to watch my children grow, smile and learn about life with me there by their side. A

fter deciding to leave the mainstream workforce, the passion for sewing grew and grew. I have been beyond blessed to turn this little hobby of mine into a source of income for my family. I never saw myself as a creative person until I sat behind the sewing machine. I love to create new things from vintage and new fabrics, to give purpose to things that may have otherwise been thrown away. I am obsessed with gorgeous high quality fabrics and I get excited about pairing together the perfect fabric pattern combinations. I give my best to everything I do, whether it’s teaching my children their letters or sewing on a zipper. I strive to give amazing customer service and I want all my customers to be happy with their purchases. I am always being refined and I love a good challenge. God has placed a purpose in my soul, to give back to the hurting and lost. A percentage of all of my proceeds go to help families in need. I am a survivor of childhood abuse and neglect. I understand the feelings many have of doing without or overcoming severe traumas. He gives me hope, grace and so much joy. One of my favorite things to do while I sew is to pray and worship, to be filled with the spirit and intercede for the future owners of my bags. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
