We’re Hopedale Agri Center, Inc. & The Mill Gift Shop, which has been a feed manufacturer here in Hopedale, IL since 1962. From 1962 until 2011 the facility was owned by major feed companies but in Nov 2011, we became family-owned and locally-run. John & Robin Nafziger purchased the “old facility”, which was quickly outgrown, and then in 2017 built a

new building that houses a vibrant gift shop and retail store, expanded warehouse space and offices. John uses his master’s degree in Agri-Business along with his life-long farm experience to create special feed blends for all types of livestock based on their age and growth needs. Robin pours her heart into The Mill Gift Shop so you can find unique gifts and she values partnering with local artists who make one-of-a-kind items. Stuart, John & Robin’s son, can help you design a livestock handling system that will keep you and your animals safe and stress-free. Come visit our newly designed building where we offer feed for family pets, horses, cattle, hogs, goats, sheep, wild birds, and beyond animal feed we offer, wood pellet grills, boots, home decor, jewelry, locally raised beef, pork, eggs, milk, honey and so much more. We’re looking forward to adding more products to better serve our community, and reaching out to the surrounding counties while expanding our retail and service offerings. We were happy to welcome Mrs. Harrison’s FFA class from Lewistown High School today! The class witnessed first hand our feed mill, warehouse and office/retail space. To end the visit, they were treated to donuts and fresh milk from Little Brown Cow Dairy. Being a small business, visits like these are the highlight of our week!
