Village Mercantile hangs out at Pickin in the Pines

Deb was at Pickin’ in the Pines last Saturday with items from Village mercantile. She is trying out a few options, seeing a few places, before making a final decision on where to open next. Thank you to Tasha Vines and Brenda Spradlin Palmer (owners of Fancy Schmancy and Pickin in the Pines) for their kindness.

Village Mercantile is Re-locating

After sincere thought and an honest assessment of our goals for the future, we’ve decided to set our sights on new adventures and are leaving this location. We have a few options, so we will let you know when and where our next grand opening is (It will be in or near Hot Springs Village.)

This fantastic journey would not have been possible without our wonderful customers.

We plan to offer everything in the store for sale with deep discounts of 35 -70%. We are going to do this by appointment, so feel free to contact Deb 214-663-1053.

Plan to join us at Village Mercantile as we introduce local artist, Roberta Wilson. She will be here from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Roberta Wilson is a native of Arkansas who resides in Hot Springs Village. She is a watercolor artist and the author of “The Essential Guide to Essential Oils.”

Roberta enjoys making one-of-a-kind greeting cards and paintings and donates proceeds to non-profit organizations. One of the charities Roberta participates in is The Clarion Call. Through a variety of outreach and education initiatives, the organization creates awareness about the systemic challenges that plague communities and lead to generational patterns of incarceration.

The photos on the left, are pics of Roberta’s paintings. The two top right are of her cards. Roberta also enjoys making jewelry, and the bottom two right are photos of pieces of her collection.
