As the month comes to an end and we begin another, I can’t help but be thankful. 🙏❤️🙏
You see this photo was taken 7 years ago…. So much has changed in those years, the people, the place, the memories, and the emotions that went on during that special moment.
We have changed as humans , the store has gotten several different looks since then, there has been additions to the family, some of the folks in the picture are no longer walking this Earth….. but what hasn’t changed is the happy day it was. The moment!!!!
The friendships that came from it!!!
The hard times that required hugs….. for them and for me!!!!! She still stops by and hugs me.

The best part of it all is that I was present in that moment, I saw the look she got in her eyes and for me that is worth every negative comment we have had to endure, every hardship economically, and every unhappy customer who didn’t see our value.
So today…. August 31, 2026 I choose to be thankful that I was part of someone’s happy moment and it happened right here at
Chez Lilli.
