🚨 A little boundary reminder from Jen 🚨
First and foremost, this is NOT directed at any one person. This has happened multiple times, with multiple people, and I know that most of the time it comes from good intentions, familiarity, or simply knowing me personally.
But going forward, I will no longer respond to personal texts, calls, or messages sent to my personal Facebook regarding items you want to sell to Paisley Park Resale.
Jen and Paisley Park Resale are not the same person. ❤️
I love this business dearly, but it cannot have access to me 24/7. My family is precious to me, my kids are growing entirely too fast, and we are getting way too close to the “flying the nest” years for me to continue giving away my evenings, weekends, and family time answering store questions outside of business channels and operating hours.
It also creates confusion inside the store.
I cannot remember what I told the 20th person who texted me personally about an item three days ago, and my employees and management team should not have to sort through conflicting information because someone “asked Jen.”
They are doing WHAT I HAVE TRAINED THEM TO DO.
And quite frankly, sometimes they remember better than I do what we have started accepting, stopped accepting, or temporarily declined. 😂
So please contact the STORE regarding anything you would like to sell, drop off, ask about, or clarify.
And this part matters to me tremendously:
Anyone who truly supports me and Paisley Park Resale should know I would never be okay with my employees being given an attitude simply because I am not there.
These employees are MY FAMILY.
They run my store exceptionally well. I trust them. I trained them. I support their decisions.
So when I’m not there, what they say goes.
Please respect their time, their answers, and their authority the same way you would respect mine. ❤️
I appreciate every single person who supports this little business I’ve built—but protecting my family time and supporting the team who helps me run it are boundaries I’m no longer willing to bend.
