We’re incredibly grateful to Ann Arbor Animal Hospital for hosting a donation drive and dropping off both pet and personal care supplies to support our Crisis Shelter and Safe Pet Place. Their partnership helps ensure survivors can seek safety without leaving any family member behind. Thank you for standing with us and the families we serve!

We are in need of volunteers!

When you give your time to LACASA Collection, you are making a difference for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault at LACASA Center.

Scheduling is flexible. We have morning and afternoon shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Volunteer opportunities include:
** Processing incoming donations
** Steaming and tagging clothes
** Filling clothing and shoe racks in-store
** Cleaning and organizing
** Taking online orders to the post office
** Helping with special store events/sales, such as Cinderella's Closet and Big Bag Sale

We are also looking for on call/as needed help with furniture pickups and drop offs.

Cinderella's Closet for prom this year will be held Monday, April 8th through Sunday, April 14th !
🌟DETAILS:🌟
👗HOURS: Store hours are as follows:
10-6pm Monday-Saturday
11-4pm Sundays
When planning your trip, please plan to arrive at least an hour before store closing so you have enough time to get through all the beautiful dresses!
👗SENSORY SENSITIVE EXPERIENCE: Because we had such positive feedback last year, we are offering two days during this upcoming Cinderella’s Closet to allow individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, anxiety, or other sensory sensitive needs to have a sensory friendly shopping experience. This will take place Sunday, April 7th from 2pm-4pm, prior to the closet officially opening on Monday, April 8th.
👗PRICE: All formalwear for teens/students is $25- dresses (short and long), suits, etc. Scholarships are also available if needed.
👗DONATIONS: If you have dresses or other formal wear you would like to donate for Cinderella’s Closet, they can be dropped off at LACASA Collection (during donation hours) or by schedule a donation time with Snedicor's Cleaners (via their website). To help the event run as smoothly as possible, donations are greatly appreciated before the start of Cinderella's Closet, although accepted during the event as well.
👗VOLUNTEERS: We are always looking for awesome volunteers to help with Cinderella’s Closet. Volunteers are able to interact and help teens during the event or help with set up/tear down based on preference and shifts available. For adult volunteers, contact [email protected]. Don’t know what to do with your homecoming dress/suit after the dance? 👗👔

Cinderella’s Closet takes dresses and formal wear ALL YEAR LONG! If you feel your dress might be perfect for another student, please bring them to us!

Donations can be dropped of AT ANY TIME at the LACASA Collection (around the back of the building) at 120 W. Highland Rd in Howell. It is in the plaza by Kroger off M 59. Please let the staff there know you are donating to Cinderella’s Closet.

Snedicor’s Cleaners can also accept donations for Cinderella’s Closet and cleans them for no charge.

All our beautiful formal wear is back at its home until prom 2024 Cinderella’s Closet and our final numbers are in!

✨240 dresses/formal wear found their person during this boutique! ✨

We want to shout a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that made this homecoming Cinderella’s Closet a hit once again!

Thank you to the LACASA Collection staff and collection volunteers for not only hosting us, but also helping with the event on all levels. Thank you to all of the amazing Cinderella’s Closet volunteers for assisting throughout the event! Thank you to everyone in the community who has donated dresses and formal year in the past to keep the event running for the students over the years!

Because we have had many new faces in for Cinderella’s Closet so far, we wanted to talk about what it is all about!!

Not only is Cinderella’s Closet for students to find beautiful dresses and formal wear to wear to their dances, but it is also an EMPOWERMENT BOUTIQUE!! ✨

We want each and every student to come in, have a fun shopping experience with their friends or loved ones, and go home feeling confident and beautiful in their own skin!! 💃🏼

Each person that stops in during Cinderella’s Closet can be a part in helping this dream come true! Have fun, be kind and courteous during crazy times, be patient with others including staff and volunteers, and lift each other up 🫶🏻

Some answers to commonly asked questions:

-Dresses are for students and are $25. Scholarships can be given as well if needed.
-Cinderella’s Closet’s location is within the LACASA collection in Howell. (120 W highland Rd in Howell)
-We have size 0-size 24+ in dresses as well as suits and other formal wear. Selection of dresses and sizes depends on donations and what is left at any certain time.
- The Collection also has shoes and accessories in the store.
- No appointment necessary!

Everyone get ready!! Cinderella's Closet starts THIS WEEKEND! 🤩

This year's homecoming Cinderella's Closet will be open from Saturday, Sept. 16 to Saturday, Sept. 23.
