Have been stuck with mostly normal orders lately, but this this was interesting and would share. Biker key chain cases. A lot of options, even my club logo fit on the back despite being so small (2” tall).

A little catch-all action tonight. This one is on the small side at ~5” x 5”. I’ll try a larger one later this week, maybe with a center leather pad in the inside.

A small IWB for a G***k 26 finished up tonight. Had to make a tweak to my pattern and remake it. Original pattern was a bit too tight. I need to figure out better inside pix - it’s dark, cold, and snow on the ground outside. Yuck.

So we’re at the Big E last night and we go into a small leather shop. I want to check out the belts and prices. Colleen’s daughter picks a wallet out of the wallet bin ($25), and says to mom, “this seems crappy.” Colleen grabs her and gets her out. Then comes to tell me and I’m laughing. Half the thickness of what I use and felt like fabric.

Buy good, quality, stuff, folks. Finally found a shop that had comparable belts as to what I make. His “show prices” were just a few dollars more than my regular ones. So that made me happy.

I didn’t like the way it looked once done. So I added some stitch lines to figure out where things needed to be. Then destroyed it. I don’t normally share fails, but if it ain’t right, it doesn’t ship!

New client contacted me about making a leather sheath for her 49th anniversary gift for her husband. A massive 2” diameter tacflashlight tc1200pro. It’s big and bulky, but he likes it. He keeps wearing out the nylon sheaths that he buys. First attempt wound up cut up because I was unhappy with the results. And if I’m not happy, it doesn’t ship! Honored that she chose me for this personal gift.
