There is always a dance to everything life has to offer. Moving those energies

Verre eglomise is a technique which involves gilding and or painting on the back of glass, has ancient origins, potentially dating back to pre-Roman times. While the technique existed much earlier,it was popularized in the 18th century by French decorator Jean Babtiste Glomy after whom it’s named. He used to embellish framed prints and decorate mirrors and trumeaux. While Glomy’s work is well known, earlier examples are known from Italy, decorated bowls from a tomb, dating back to 3rd century B.C.
