Big News from Hunter…
After years of serving the ski community, we’ve decided it’s time to evolve.
Starting November 2026, The Pro Ski and Ride will officially rebrand after hours as:
The Pro Ski & Rye
Hunter’s newest Apres Social Club.
A place where instructors, patrollers, racers, coaches, and locals can gather for good drinks and great company after the lifts stop spinning.
Our beverage program will focus on craft beer and classic cocktails, featuring:
• Shot Ski Fridays
• Espresso Martini Saturdays (we’re finally putting that espresso machine to work)
• A rotating craft lineup led by our Head of Fiddlehead Procurement
And of course, a signature guest experience:
The only bar in Hunter with a hot tub.
Leadership for this exciting new venture includes:
• Gio Holmquist — General Manager
• Robert Bolten — Head of Fiddlehead Procurement
• Rich Hawks — Creative Cocktail Director
We are currently accepting applications for:
• Chair of Member Experience
• Mixologists
• Bouncers
• Dishwashers
Membership tiers will be announced at a later date but will be considerably more reasonable than other clubs in the Catskills.
Membership will be open to the ski community beginning November 2026.
Ski boots encouraged, but not required.
Valid ID required for pro pricing on drinks.
