We want to take a moment to celebrate the Coachella Valley Firebirds, our newest team, on the huge achievements they made this year.

To conclude your inaugural season as the Western Conference Champions and with a playoff run ending in game 7 of the finals is an amazing accomplishment.

You may not have defeated the Bears tonight, but you certainly won the heart of the entire Southern California desert.

On to next season!

Pound for pound the bobcat is the most powerful cat alive today.

Conservation of the species we share space on the planet with is so important!

Remember, animals had the land first, be kind and cause them no harm. Most are more afraid of you than you are of them.

Bobcat mom and kittens on the western end of our mountains. Often mistaken for mountain lions in Southern California, bobcats are much smaller and have a short tail, ear tufts and a pronounced facial ruff, similar to a beard. They typically weigh between 12 and 25 pounds. -Ranger Kate

Happy Thanksgiving! The LA Kings Girls Hockey Program, now officially known as the LA Lions, kicked off the Lady Ducks Fall Classic today. The 8u's were modeling their brand spankin' new jerseys before their first game!

It's 11:16 on a Friday night and we just got called by not one but two of our teams needing emergency jerseys. So, of course, we are making them. Right now, because that what service is really about. We have our faults and I'm the first to fly that flag too, but I will promise you this, we will do everything in our power to get our teams what they need-when they need it. There is no "closed" sign on our door (except MAYBE on Christmas and I would come in and sew myself if I had to!).
