When you are decorating, try something new! I like to pull in texture, fabrics, greenery, vintage pieces and lighting into all of my decor.
And I don’t necessarily follow the rules . I just do what is pleasing to my eye.
Height is important in home decor!
Be creative when it comes to adding height. Use vintage books of all colors. Tuck in florals or greenery to add depth to your design. Lastly, make it personal! Do what you love.
I do try to balance the decor on my mantle, but the goal is not perfection!
