First post in a long while! I love working with brides!
I'm calling this my first in series:
TRUST THE PROCESS

In November my my niece wore her mother's wedding dress from 37 years ago. It was my first time doing an original design! I used the original, redesigned the top and designed new sleeves.
Then found a thrifted dress that had the same satin and designed a new top. I used the original skirt, lining, and all the original hand beaded appliques. It was a challenge that really enjoyed!
Looking forward to do more!

Wow! It's been a busy month since returning from Europe!
I caught up on some last minute wedding sewing, got a new grandson! (3 weeks early!)
Totally threw off my schedule! But I'm not complaining! My grandchildren are the light of my life!
And yes, I made the baby quilt!
