Oh the FUN we have had at elizabeth henry for the past 7 and a half years!!! The fabulous customers who became friends, the involvement in the vibrant and growing Independence Square community, the Girls Night Out evenings, Wine and Brew Walks and of course the Santa Cali Gon'sI It has been such a great and special time for our entire family too, having the aunts, grandparents, nieces and kids involved and the time that we were able to spend together in the shop is priceless. The BEST part of it all has been having my wonderful Mum beside me every step of the way. It would NOT have ever happened without her. She is the rock, merchandiser extraordinaire, workaholic and creative force behind it all. The adventures she, my sister Jill and I had at Market were the BEST! So many laughs!! And finally my husband Eric the quiet force behind it all who 8 years ago said 'we should do this'. He is the guy who quietly steers the ship behind the scenes. He even 'suffered' through Market once upon a time (hurray for free Margaritas!! ).
All of the above being said, it is time to move on. I am so happy to be working for the Independence School District Foundation so I am able to continue working in this City I love so much!!
