We celebrated all weekend with family and friends. Highlight was spending weekend with our cousins that included a pancake picnic and seeing our very first movie: Toy Story 5 🍿🎥

STRONG AS A MOTHER.

You name it in the journey to motherhood and I’ve probably experienced it. The Good, The Bad, and the so incredibly painful you believe you won’t survive it…

Saying Hallelujah to almost all of it because I get to be their Mom❤️‍🔥

If you’re in the season of loss… there WILL be joy again even if not right now. Keep going … And the only opinion(s) that matter on your grief and your timeline are YOURS.

If you’re in a season of waiting … IT SUCKS. IT HURTS. ITS ALL UNFAIR!!!! Keep going, please. I hope our family provides you some hope, and if it causes you pain instead- that’s valid. It can be so hard to see everyone’s happiness surrounding your Hell.

If you’re going through Fertility treatments: you are a Warrior!!! Keep going (or don’t if you’ve had enough - there is so much courage and honor in that decision too!)

NICU MOMS: UGH ❤️‍🩹 There isn’t anything you wouldn’t do for your babies. It’s so unfair and traumatizing and I’m not sure my nervous system will ever recover … I thought we’d never get out. You won’t miss those days or those ******* beeps/monitors but you will miss the people you meet in there along the way you helped you hold it together somehow.

Finally, there are zero medals for how you bring your children into this world - it’s all a job well done if you bring them into this world alive ❣️ but, getting to have an unmedicated VBAC after EVERYONE *but my favorite OB and Doulas* told me I couldn’t, is something I’m incredibly proud and honored to have experienced. It’s actually the closest to God I’ve ever felt in my life. I swear it was his promise to me - to surrender and trust Him completely and he’d reward and redeem it all through my birth with Estelle. And that’s exactly what happened.

All this to say, Mothers are everything. We endure it all for the loves of our life. And it all deserves to be honored, today and everyday. Sending love to all those who are mothers and all those wishing to become one❣️

Big shoutout to my sisters, my Mom, my MIL and the rest of my Village. You’ve been there through every bit of this journey with me. Learning from and with the best is such a gift🩷

Had the honor of co-hosting a Kentucky Derby themed Mahjong party this past weekend with the literal hosting Queen herself, with a little help from our friends at … this collectors item mat/theme is particularly special to me because Ryan and I were married on Derby Day so I knew it was a NEED not a want as soon as they released them🥰

Also want to give a big shoutout to some local businesses whose custom touches took the whole theme to another level

🍹the mint juleps (that may or may not have required everyone to uber home) is the best mixologist you’ll ever find
🍪 - still cannot get over the detail on these cookies
