I’ve looked at pretty much everything in my home at least once and asked myself, “Keep or Sell?”

Could never, ever in a million and one years list this beauty. This lamp just makes me happy and can live in my home office for eternity.

What’s your “absolutely will NEVER sell this” thing you own?

Note to self:

She who stays up too late listing on eBay has trouble functioning at work the next day.

If you have a full time day job and are a reseller by night and on the weekends- what’s your trick to balance it all?

We have been so busy, my apologies for not socializing lately!! It’s lake season, so balancing eBay, full time jobs and campfires has been a challenge. But you guys. I have to tell you how AWESOME sourcing is out in small rural towns. You know the ones— where you blink and you’re through them!

Hubby and I hit up some sales in Rockville Indiana, it’s a tiny little town about an hour or so west of Indianapolis Indiana and about 15 minutes from our lake place. Weren’t expecting too much but man did we hit the mother load! This old-timer and his wife were setting things out at 7:30am and we walked up and started chatting with them and he told us to go in the garage and start picking through stuff at our leisure—And picking we did! Heck. My husband was climbing tool benches to take vintage signs off the walls. I was rummaging through boxes that hadn’t seen the light of day in 30 years. We paid $64.00 for an absolute ton of stuff. Barely have scratched the surface researching, cleaning it up and posting- but am totally stoked over these finds!

Here are just a few for your viewing pleasure, and of course I had to throw in one of my husband and kids relaxing by the fire after a really long day of sourcing and hanging out with the family. I’ll post more later as I go through it because seriously, this wasn’t a fraction of what we found and it’s going to be a blast looking through it all with you!

Holy crap, we’re just 4 shy of 500 followers. This past month has been a whirlwind and if I’m being honest, I’ve not been paying attention, battling some health issues.

Been listing like a madwoman, though . Found time somewhere in between emergency rooms, unplanned surgery and an iron infusion…my motto has been “NO EXCUSES!”

The upside to being at home recovering has been that I finally got through a big chunk of the death pile of clothes that have been giving me dirty looks for the last few months. The downside is that I have not been sourcing and there’s nothing super cool zleft to list!

I see a garage sale marathon in my near future!

What’s your game plan for when you’re unable to go out into the wild and shop til you drop? Because I have seriously great intentions to get out there but am probably not going to be able to for a little while longer until I’m stronger.

Pic of my adorable 17yr old daughter who would absolutely blow a gasket if she saw this. Big props to her for holding the fort down for her mama and always helping us manage our inventory!

I once had a “mom blog” page that had around 12,000 followers and an absolute ton of activity. I’d post and get hundreds of likes and comments every single day.

It was easy.

This page? This is hard. I love reselling, despite it being a lot of work. We fell into it honestly, by clearing our house of excess stuff collected over the years and really busting at the seams when our parents passed away… not to mention my husband has always dabbled in buying and selling sports collectibles and has an eye for all things vintage and antiques….but truth be told, we keep the best things we find for ourselves.

But back to this page thing….my issue is that I can’t help but notice that a lot of the content I’m seeing from resellers in the last year is that everyone is talking about the exact same thing over and over and over.

I thrifted this today! Look what I sold! Look how much I made in 30, 60, 90 days! Why what you’re selling sucks and mine doesn’t. I’m monetized and made $5 today! I could go on and on here, but you get what I’m saying, right?!

Very few content creators grab my attention, and keep it.

What I REALLY want to know is what sets you apart from everyone else in this business? Tell me something I don’t already know or haven’t seen a hundred times already! Give me something good! Something thought provoking, something interesting about you or what you are passionate about - whether it has something to do with reselling or not!

Look forward to getting to know you, folks!!

Adding a random picture for attention, because that’s what everyone else does 😉

Talked myself out of picking this up at Goodwill today. I mean, I’m sure there’s someone out there that would just love this red velvet jewelry box… but trying to be a little more reserved while out in the wild and not buy ALL the things.

Why do we list everything from collectible items worth thousands to an item that may only get you a few bucks?

My husband brings me things all the time and says, “Do you think we can sell this?” Most of the time my reply is, “Well- yes we can, honey!”

He never disappoints. This man may look like he’s a little rough around the edges l, but his eye for stuff is off the chain!

These were picked up off the Freebee app. Just another example of “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

Zero investment = 100% profit

Pretty sure there’s nothing more satisfying than sitting at the day job and getting a notification that you’ve made $1500 in sales by lunchtime. In ONE transaction.

Talk about doing a happy dance 💃 in your chair, not trying to bring attention to yourself, calling your husband and whispering in excitement what just happened🤫, smiling all day making coworkers think you’ve lost your mind😁!

Let me say it loud for those in the back: Don’t underestimate the value 🤑of what may not seem like the most obvious money maker, and don’t underestimate yourself when you see the value in something that others may pass over!

Do you find that some people are just relentless with their offers? This was given to me for free, so I don’t have a penny in it - I still don’t want to give it away! What would you price this antique bird nesting house? Am I being unreasonable want at least $25 for it? At first she offered $8 (the audacity of this woman 😂) Now she’s up to $16ish. To take the offer or not take the offer- that is the question.
