We are currently offering a limited selection of clothing at Black Sheep Gifts in Fortville. When the Fortville store opened, the intention was to have a limited selection of Josephine’s clothes to help us through the upcoming construction. There are dressing rooms and space. Yes, it is 30 minutes away (closer than Plainfield, closer than Carmel, closer than Brownsburg). No traffic. No construction. Easy drive.

If you do not want to come to Fortville to shop, we understand. We know how far away it is. We know how inconvenient it is. We also would love to be back in our spot, but that’s not happening. We would love to have a store full of inventory. But that’s not happening. We are doing the best we can, at times, that feels overwhelming.

Will we have an event in Irvington? Maybe. Possibly. But not now. We will let you know.

In light of the tragic events that unfolded last night at Josephine's, our hearts are heavy with sadness. We extend our deepest condolences to Terri's family and all those who were touched by her kindness and warmth. This senseless act of violence has left us all in shock and mourning.

For the safety and well-being of our community and staff, Josephine's will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Similarly, Black Sheep Irvington will be closed as we take the time to assess the situation and support each other through these trying times.

We urge everyone to keep Terri's loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Her vibrant spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and compassion as we navigate this difficult moment. The support of the community has been overwhelming. We will share further updates when we are ready to make public statements.
