December has been busy, but I managed to squeeze in some sewing! I had a request for two purses for twin toddler girls for a Christmas gift. When trying something new, I usually make a practice one- so the first bag, I made for my son using a couple of car t-shirts he’s outgrown (and green felt- his favorite color). I made some mistakes on that one, so I was glad I had planned a practice one first. But, he loves to carry his cars around in it! I also needed a last-minute gift for my daughter’s teacher- so made the floral one for her the night before the last day of school (and added some chocolate inside). Finally, I finished the two little “purses” and a couple of felt potato chips (because the girls love to carry around a single potato chip in their hands!) I love how they turned out!

I took a break from sewing the past several weeks while I was doing a big photography project. But now that it’s done, I’m ready to get back to sewing! Looking forward to working on two special requests and then some personal projects before Christmas! (Photos of the planning stages and new felt order acquired)
