The bandages feature a pixel-grid pattern that mimics the mosaic blur commonly used in Japanese media. Put one over a small injury, and suddenly it looks like your wound has been blurred by the internet. 😂

The idea was originally just a personal design experiment, but the internet loved it. The post reportedly received nearly 20 million views, with people around the world asking for the bandages to be mass-produced.

Some even joked that wearing one makes you look like a Minecraft character. 🎮

The creator has suggested that a temporary tattoo-style version might be easier to produce, but she’s also interested in finding a manufacturer for the real thing.
