Evelyn Brawner is named for his grandmothers, who both encouraged his creativity and influenced his style. Five Years ago, 225 yards of tulle ago...the vision was sparked at the Indiana War Memorial. I had to cut down the skirts outside on the lawn before the show in order to get the gowns out onto the runway, standing backstage a bundle of sweaty nerves. I don’t remember much other than the stress and the subsequent euphoria of success. @ Indiana War Memorials
