4 years ago today, these beauties came into my shop to be remembered again and hopefully brought together with their soulmates. So far, not one of my beloved pairings between a customer and their treasure has ended in divorce. Maybe a few close calls from breakups but as collectors of history and not coveters of it, we usually come to the conclusion that repair is better than despair any day of the week. Wouldn't you agree?

Enjoy my little slide show and enjoy your own collections as you pass them down to your family as heirlooms. Our purpose as collectors is to teach others about why these pieces are to be cherished, respected, valued and preserved for future generations. It's to help document the history of the human experience and the evolution of all mankind through observing the tools we used that helped us control and conquer our world as well as learn to create, heal and love within it.

This cool piece doesn't even need a filter. WWII trench art brass tankard made from a large bullet casing with an etched map of battlefields. Just listed in the shops! Go check out it while you still can. 😉
