About the designer-
Around the time she learned to walk, Rebecca learned to sew. A life-long love was kindled back then, and later was nurtured further at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied fashion design and tailoring. Rebecca’s decade-long career in the garment industry has included time working for several well known contemporary labels as well as many years of working as an
independent designer and business owner. Her lines have been sold in Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, among others, and have been hailed by Oprah and numerous industry insiders. Her designs meditate on quality textiles, construction, fit, color, and proportion. Unimpressed by clothes that force a woman into a certain mold, the pieces she creates are formed with a woman's natural beauty and movements in mind. Through her designs and business practices, she aims to communicate her love and respect for her neighbors and planet. She strongly believes that the choices we make have important effects each other, and with her bridal gowns hopes to bring a positive experience to women during a beautiful, transitional time in their lives. Rebecca is a California native and now lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband, Brandon, their two kitties, and their baby boy Caleb who was welcomed into this world on March 15th, 2011!
