A little booth refresh at Lisette’s Refined Refind! ✨

SIDE PORCH CHRONICLES

Most people would call these volunteer sunflowers.

But I know better.

They were planted by a very special gardener—my industrious chipmunk, who has appointed himself Chief of Landscaping.

Yesterday, after strategically placing a few rocks, I thought I might finally be winning our long-running Mulch-on-the-Sidewalk battle. Maybe even a truce.

This morning, the sidewalk was still tidy…

…but the pot had a brand-new hole. One with ambitions of reaching China.

I’ve decided you don’t win negotiations with a determined chipmunk. You just redirect the next construction project.

The sunflowers are blooming, the garden is thriving, and somewhere nearby I’m quite sure my special gardener is feeling very pleased with himself. 🌻🐿️
