Nov 4th. 8:35am was a morning I won't forget. I harvested my 1st deer with a bow and a beautiful 8 point it was. My shot was a bit high at 40 yards but he went down where he stood. As I sat down to collect myself he got up and started to make his way down hill. Long story short, my release malfunctioned 2 times after my 1st shot making for some very stressful times. In the end it worked out. Thanks to Mike Lagreca for helping with a uphill drag, and Big Rick for the quad ride out.

Great night/day hunt. With the shot a little behind in the liver I backed myself out quietly and went at it first thing in the morning. We found it 150 yards from the hit. Big thanks to Razor and B Howard for helping me track this morning. It was a lot of fun building this great memory.

The Yankee Hillcrew finish out the season with 3 bucks, and 2 does. It was a difficult season with the weather that didn't want to cooperate but it was a success. Going into the last day with only 1 buck hung we are pretty pumped to finish with 3 on the season.

Yankee Hill Crew is on the board in OH!!! My old man got it done today opening day of OH gun season. My dad just bought this property this summer and we knew there were some big boys. So excited and happy for him. Congrats Dad!!
