My dogs came into my life when the doctor told me I had cancer. I went and adopted two long-time shelter dogs that had thought no one would ever love them.
I went to the shelter and saw Rich first at the back of the kennel like his life was over. I adopted him. Next, I saw Ronny and he came up to me and licked my hand. I adopted him.
I felt I needed some companions during this time of pain and the unknown. I didn’t know what would happen but I know I needed love to always surround me and that’s what I found in Rich and Ronny.
I needed to laugh and they make me laugh all the time. I needed to cry and they gave me a soft place to do it. I needed a friend and they gave me a paw. I beat cancer and I owe it all to them for providing me with all the love and compassion I could ever need.
I love you guys you are my everything!!

Kitchen scarves. These are the most handy things to have in your kitchen AND when gardening-yep, I said gardening! You know how you have sweat running down your face and into your eyes and you can't or don't want to wipe at the rivulets with your dirty hands or gloves? Grab the scarf around your neck and wipe.
Same with in the kitchen. Hands soiled or wet and towel is across the room. Kitchen scarf around your neck solves that problem. Can even be used for a pot holder in a pinch. Very clever idea I think.

Christmas is coming (I know, hard to think about Christmas when it is so hot). Lol

I am making Microwave Bowl Holders. Don't know what Microwave Bowl Holders are? They are the neatest things since peanut butter! Think about pulling a bowl out of the microwave. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! All the way to the counter.
Now think about putting your bowl in a 100% cotton fabric batting lined bowl shaped container, putting it in the microwave and heating the food and taking it out, Holding onto the fabric instead of the bowl. Now stroll to the kitchen table! No more burned fingers!!!
Now think about holding on to a bowl full of ice cream and how cold your fingers get. Not when you put them in the bowl holders I make.
They can also be used as pot holders.
Now, aren't they neat? Don't you want a set? How about one for your best friend, family,etc? They make wonderful gifts.
I will post a sample of a fabric and of how many I have available in that particular fabric. I will not do custom orders. I will post a wide variety of fabrics to choose from and will be making more as time does along.
