The Summer of Speed has started!! Come check out the new Endorphin line updates from in the new store!

I’ve been a big Saucony fanboy since I started running and have been a big supporter of their plated shoes since version 1 of the Pro (going to try and find my pair this weekend🤞). I think for most of the versions skewing firmer than the rest of the industry, while still providing top notch performance, is more beneficial than runners realize. With the rise in Hyrox, I’ve been telling everyone Saucony is the way to go for a good stable base on the complex movements, and still have the pop for a fast run.

All that is pretty much undercut by having the Endorphin Elite 3 (maybe the softest shoe I’ve ever put on) alongside the Pro, but I stand by it!

A bit of an informal event for those who observe Global Run Day, and the weather looks solid, so the perfect day to get moving!

If you're like me, fitting group runs around a work schedule can be difficult. I've been able to close a little early on Monday evenings for some existing events, but I'm hoping to create more running opportunities from the Iron Pier area as we get going. My rough idea would be doing a Monday morning group run, and Friday mornings & evenings, so as not to step on toes.

Let me know with a comment or DM what days and times you'd like to see a group run, and I'll take it into account too!

Even if you don't join me for a few miles, there are plenty of ways to get out and move next Wednesday. is having an event at Long Branch that looks like a lot of fun and slightly earlier in the afternoon at 5:45pm, and is up before everyone at 6:15am at Thornden, so no excuses for not getting outside to move the body!

The sale rack is finally up and filling up with mostly winter gear! I think I’ve used every piece of gear on here (maybe not the sports bras though), and love coming back to them for cold weather layering. Unfortunately, we’re quite a ways away from those icy days, but that doesn’t mean you can’t prepare now!

I’m pretty much out of pipes for now, but rest assured, we’ll have another rack soon and filling up throughout the summer. August thru October are usually when new apparel drops happen for our main brands, but trying to forecast how the economy will go might mean forgoing some pieces we’re on the fence about. Anyways, there will be many an “oops, too much apparel” sales in the future I’m sure.

A new model and new colorway make their way into the shop!

The Speedgoat 7 has been a great update to my foot and so far has replaced my Mafate 4s. I haven’t gotten out to Green Lakes as often as I’d like, but it’s been a great addition to the 12 other trail shoes in my car. This bright orange actually looks pretty cool in person too.

The Zinal 3 is a longtime love of Ian’s, as he was a big fan of version 1, but this one feels more tried and true to the original with a little new-ness. After the big change to the Peregrine this year, I think this one is the spiritual successor to Peregrines of Yesteryear as a lightweight trail runner that can go the distance for some.
