Local friends!! If you are a caregiver or know one, check out this support group! I am so excited to lead a craft project with them next Monday, June 1. We will be making scrappy appliqué tote bags! ♥️
Being a caregiver is a life that Brian and I understand very well, and though Ellie is an independent queen there are still struggles that we don’t share on a regular basis. We understand how difficult it can be and the importance of having other people to talk to that understand.
If you want additional info, please feel free to DM me! ♥️♥️
Why do we include restorative activities in our caregiver support group? 🤍
Because caregivers carry so much mentally, emotionally, and physically every single day.
Sometimes the most healing thing isn’t more information or long discussion — it’s simply having space to do something with your hands, create, laugh, talk casually, and let your nervous system rest for a moment.
Restorative activities help caregivers:
✨ slow down
✨ reconnect with themselves
✨ reduce stress
✨calmly create
✨ experience joy without guilt
It’s not really about the craft itself.
It’s about creating a safe space to breathe, reset, and feel cared for too.
We’re so excited to have Lauren Carter with Retro Rabbit joining us this month as we sew + decorate our own tote bags with hand-cut fabric letters hand sewn with love 🪡🩷
