Hi Everyone! Sorry for the lack of activity; been hard at work on new costumes and at my job. But I just wanted to pop back on for a bit and let you all know I'm open for any alterations you may have coming up.
Holiday season is upon us which means parties and other events are prime territory for formal wear. So please feel free to shoot me a message if you're interested.
And to prove I have been working hard here's a sneak peek of one of my Katsucon cosplays. This is the beginnings of the final dress with the muslin I created hiding underneath. This was created using one of my patterns from UD and I can't wait to show you the final product!
Thanks again and Happy Turkey season!!

Even as the leaves begin to change color, and pumpkins start to line the streets another season begins to emerge. Homecoming!!
Since we are now over a week into October I wanted to remind everyone that along with costume commissions/alterations, I'm also open for Homecoming alterations. If you or anyone you know is involved with a school that holds a homecoming dance please share my link with them and let their students know they can send me a message and I'll respond ASAP.
Thanks and I hope everyone enjoys their homecoming season!

Hello Everyone and Happy October! And you know what that means....it's Spooky Season!
~
Just a reminder that I'm currently open for any costume questions or commissions. Whether it's altering a costume, making a certain piece, or possibly the whole costume; just send me a message and let's see what we can create together!
This also includes cosplays (since I myself am preparing for winter con season) or even holiday costumes for any occasion coming up.
Thanks so much for all the support and stay spooky my friends.

Time for a throwback Thursday!

Today's throwback features my very first cosplay ever which was Gaara from Naruto Shippuden.
This was not made 100% by me but actually me and my mom who taught me how to sew. The jacket and vest were made with her help while I worked on the gourd and hat myself.
I don't wear this cosplay very much due to the gourd being so delicate now but it is one of my all time favorites.

These pictures go as far back as Otakon 2013 (📸: Me) and Katsucon 2014 (📸: Silverdrop Studios). I sadly do not have the other cosplayers tag anymore so if you recognize them please let me know.

For today's design showcase I present to you my first ever original design from college. The goal was to develop an inspiration, then create a shirt and skirt look from it.
My inspiration for this look was actually the Broadway show Hamilton, which was huge at the time. This also should've been a clue theatre costuming would soon become a new found passion.
From the show I pulled inspiration from the costumes silhouettes and color schemes. The black and gold fabric also became a key focal point for this look.
Thank you everyone for all of the support; I know homecoming season is on the way so please feel free to pass around this page to anyone who may need it.

To get this page up and running I'm going to be sharing various costumes/sewing projects I've created over the years. To start off I wanted to share my first cosplay made completely from scratch.
~
Teutonic Knight Prussia from the Hetalia Anime/Manga!!!
This cosplay is back from 2014; the tunic and cape were made from store bought patterns and altered to the style and size I needed. The symbols were custom made by myself for this specific costume.
Though I don't wear this cosplay much anymore it is one of my all time favorites. I still have all the patterns if anyone is interested.
