Meet the Maker: Christal King

Hi, I’m Christal, founder of Indigo Scents Home Fragrance, a family-owned business based in West Tennessee. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a passion for crafting candles, home fragrances, and self-care products that help create moments of comfort, peace, and everyday luxury.

I’ve always been fascinated by the power of fragrance and how a scent can instantly transport you to a memory or special moment. That love inspired me to create products that not only smell beautiful but help make a house feel more like home.

Fun Fact: Many of my fragrance creations are inspired by memories, places I’ve visited, and moments I’d love to relive. For me, scent is one of the most powerful ways to tell a story and evoke emotion.

✨Meet Megan the Piercer✨

Hi, I'm Megan! I'm a body piercer located inside Collective Mercantile. I've always been drawn to self-expression, creativity, and helping people feel confident in who they are, which is what led me to the piercing industry.

One of my favorite things about being a piercer is the relationships I build with my clients. Whether someone is getting their very first piercing, celebrating a milestone, or adding to a carefully curated ear, I love being part of their story and helping bring their vision to life.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm usually spending time with my kids, reading a good book (iykyk) , or hanging out with my Kitties and German Shepherd. Life can be a little chaotic, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every client is incredibly important to me. My goal is for everyone who sits in my chair to leave feeling informed, confident, and excited about their new piercing.

Fun/Weird Fact: If we go out to eat and ranch dressing is involved, there's a very good chance I'm ordering it.
