For shop owner, Cara Montemuro, that's exactly what this new venture is for her. While the idea behind it has been in the works for several years, it was in the last year that the idea took off and became a reality. Cara is constantly on the search for new brands to bring to the Jacksonville area, going beyond the NYC and LA scene - and bringing both men's and women's brands from across the world

• inguz, pronounced ‘in-gwaz’, means ‘the start of a new creative process’. it’s a symbol for new beginnings and pushing boundaries - something we can all appreciate right now. i think, too, inguz, as a community, and a small business, as an ethos, is something jacksonville has always needed. this funny, big little, tight knit community is one we’ve fallen in love with. we hope the love and welcoming times you’ve felt at inguz continue to live on through you and those around you. try new things, take risks, buy the pretty dress, and and always remember: no bad days // thank you to everyone who has supported over the last three years. our doors officially closed, but we hope the spirit of inguz will live on • @ Jacksonville, Florida

• we wanted to hop on here and let you know that at this point in time, we plan to keep our store open until we close our doors for good at the end of march. we are taking necessary precautions to keep the shop clean and bacteria free. with that being said, we will no longer be serving coffee in “for here” cups or in your personal reusable cups - we hate to contribute to the amount of waste in this world, but feel it’s in everyone’s best interest. if you are feeling sick, please be considerate of others and hold off on coming into the store. you’re more then welcome to reach out to us via DM and we will do our best to serve you! please stay healthy... and wash your hands. love you all! •

• about three years ago i opened inguz because i felt a connection to jacksonville and pursuing a life long dream here was what my gut was telling me to do. let’s just say, i am so glad i listened. since opening, i have met so many amazing people (my husband included); people who love this community and want to see it grow, people who are excited about the changes we’ve made in such a short amount of time, and people who have dedicated their lives to supporting local businesses. the people who have walked through my doors in the past three years are what kept my fire lit. i am so grateful to anyone who has supported me - whether it was through a purchase, an instagram like or spreading the word about Inguz. however, all good things must come to an end. it is with a heavy heart that i announce inguz will be closing at the end of march. while we may be closing our doors, we want the inguz lifestyle to live on through all of you. stay tuned for sales over the next few weeks and a farewell party at the end of the month. you will still be able to find us through our partnership with their studio. thanks for the memories ... and always remember, no bad days • @ Inguz
