Yesterday’s steamy 🔥 heat definitely reminded me that my body needs a little recovery time… but apparently my looms didn’t get the memo! 😂🧶
So, while I’m taking it a bit easier, I’ve started something NEW on the loom!
Six different yarns…
A little patchwork…
Lots of texture…
And some subtle shades that are beginning to whisper FALL. 🍂✨
I’m loving how this one is starting to come together, but I’m keeping the finished design under wraps for now. 😉

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Alyssa Wilson of Sacred Shell Healing for one of those beautiful chance encounters that makes a day at my Happy Place even more special. ❤️
Years ago, Alyssa purchased a little turtle from me — a special collaboration with my Mom that holds a very dear place in my heart. 🐢💜
And today, our paths crossed again.
For weeks, my Midnight Mosaic Kimono had apparently been whispering to Alyssa… and today, she finally listened. ✨
There are moments as an artist when a piece seems to find the person it was meant for. Watching this beautiful soul wear Midnight Mosaic, I knew this was one of those moments. It complements her so beautifully — but even more meaningful to me is knowing that something I poured my heart and passion into spoke to her enough that she couldn't stop thinking about it.
That means more to me than I can put into words.
Every thread, every color, every texture carries a little piece of my creative spirit. When someone recognizes that and chooses to bring one of my handwoven creations into their life, it reminds me why I weave. 🧶💜
Alyssa, thank you for appreciating my passion, for supporting my art over the years, and for letting Midnight Mosaic find its way to you.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Market at Cedar Point today to support local! ❤️
It has been a tough summer with those relentless heat indexes, so being welcomed back to my Happy Place today meant more to me than you may realize. 🥰
To everyone who stopped to chat, admired my handwoven creations, chose to invest in one of my pieces, or simply picked up a business card and showed an interest in what I create — thank you. Every conversation, every purchase, and every kind word made a difference in my life today.
Weaving is something I pour my heart and soul into, and having that work welcomed and appreciated makes it all worthwhile.
I am truly thankful and grateful for each and every one of you. 💜

Well folks… family life and a little chaos ruled the day today! 😂❤️
Tomorrow it’s back to business! I’ll be finishing up packing my Pilot and choosing the handwoven designs that will be making the trip with me.
I sure hope to see some familiar smiling faces at my happy place, The Market at Cedar Point, for the Labor Day Weekend Market! ❤️
I’ve been busy at the looms while contending with our HOT summer, so I’m planning to bring a big variety of handwoven goodies—shawls, ponchos, kimonos, ruanas, hippie vests, boxy tops, bags and more!
It feels SO good to be getting back to my booth and my happy place. 🥰 Come say hello, browse the newest creations, chat weaving with me, and maybe find a little something handmade to welcome the coming Fall season. 🍂🧶

There’s just something about Fall that makes me want to wrap up in layers of beautiful color and texture… and this one is definitely speaking my language. 🍁
Clover & Plum Reverie is a handwoven little adventure in texture! The patchwork checker design brings together rich chive green chenille, plum acrylic and rayon chenille, along with a soft haloed yarn that flows through purples and greens like watercolor. The loom has been busy, the fibers have been dancing, and I’m excited to give you a little glimpse of what will be making its way to my booth this Saturday at The Market at Cedar Point! 💜🍂
