Today I celebrate 27 years in multifamily! My career has been filled with lots of laughter, a few adult beverages, some tears and plenty of challenges along with highs and lows. I’ve made many friends and have had the pleasure of working with amazing people both on-site and as a vendor partner. I had no clue what I was in for all those years ago but I’m incredibly grateful to be here and to continue on this journey. Thanks to everyone who believed in me and for helping me to be where say, “You never know where life will lead you.” Cheers to many more! 🎉🍾🥂

We celebrated Samantha’s birthday today with family and one of her friends. First, was lunch at Texas Roadhouse with a cookie cake from Publix.

Afterward, we took the girls to Sawyer’s Fun Park of Greenville NC where they jumped, climbed the rock wall, and did the ropes course. They also played some games and won a Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck stuffed figure, plus exchanged their tokens for some other small prizes. their adventures playing games. Their adventure ended with slushies before we took her friend home.

Tonight, Samantha opened her presents. She got a STANLEY tumbler, some clothes including a shirt from Simply Southern, Dove bodywash, shampoo and conditioner and Micellar water. She enjoys games and we’re excited to try the Connect 4 Spin Game. Her MeMe bought her a Malibu Barbie and she thought that was cool. What got me the most was how much she loved her practical gifts! At 12, she amazes me with how sensible she can be. She actually said she would like more gifts that she can use. It truly warmed my heart. ❤️

I am convinced that there must be barbecue in heaven. It is literally my favorite food group! I always say that any day I get to eat steak is a great day, but anytime I get to eat barbecue is something special.

I am so thankful for opportunities to get to stop at some of my favorite barbecue spots. I’m also looking for recommendations. Do you have a spot that you would recommend for great barbecue? 🍖

We had a wonderful evening with some of our dearest friends that have become family to us. The food, hayride, and fellowship was amazing! This was a great addition to Thanksgiving week! 🍗🌽🥔🐷😋

This was our Thanksgiving lunch with our family in 2023. The first pic was of my plate. As you can see, I ate very well! I made keto broccoli salad, keto green bean casserole, keto “sweet potato” casserole, carrots, keto chocolate peanut butter pie, keto chocolate chip cookies, keto rolls, and sausage balls (for everyone else). To say that I was stuffed afterward is an understatement. Looking forward to a repeat on Thursday! 🦃😋 ❤️

Meal prep can happen in a variety of ways. Yesterday’s breakfast on the Blackstone had leftover sausage and bacon so I fried some eggs, made some toast, and Sunday breakfast was complete. 🍳 🥓 🤤

Today was our we first ECU Women’s Soccer Game. 🏴‍☠️ Some of Samantha’s teammates from Wave were here, too. Unfortunately, the Lady Pirates lost to the Lady Tigers 0 to 5. 🥅
