Niky's Needles originally started in Wisconsin with mainly crocheted crafts. After a plethora of health issues and a major move accross country to the Seattle area in the fall of 2015 I started making masks for myself and my husband during the summer because of the fires and the smoke and air pollutants were horrible for our asthma. The summer air quality got better but then came COVID and since I already had experience making masks I stepped up to make them for my friends and family on the front lines of this invisible war with a new enemy. Before I knew it neighbors and local businesses were placing orders with me to make masks for their families and staff. When I finally had time to come up for air I decided I needed to make this a legitimate business and secured my business license. We started this venture in Kent as I lived in a 350 sqft tiny home. We have since moved to Spanaway and my business has organically gone in the direction of more alterations. I LOVE WHAT I DO.
