When Tomorrow Comes Light A Candle Card

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today for life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same day
There's no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Thought there were times you did some things,
You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
And now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
And share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

It's Time Card

There is no relationship in this world like the one that I had with my mother. She was my best friend, my worst enemy and everything in between. She was the person who was there for me at my worst and the person to always celebrate with me when I was at my best. My mother was everything to me.

Losing my mother was the absolute worst thing to ever happen to me. Nothing in the world could compare to the horrendous feeling of knowing that I would not get to lie in my mother’s arms again.

With everyday that passes, I miss my mom more than the day before. With every new beginning, every ending, every milestone and every celebration I desperately crave the love and support from my mother. There is nothing and no person who can replace her.

You are not alone

You are not alone in this feeling. I too lost my mother and it has been the most devastating thing in the world. Through this journey I have realized that there are so many others who are living this same pain. I have learned that I am not the first person to go through this and I certainly won’t be the last. We have officially joined one of the world’s most dreadful clubs.

Your mother lives inside of you

If there is anything I’ve learned through this journey it is that I become more like my mother every single day. Our mother's live inside of us. Part of them will always be with us.

The love between the two of you will never go away

The love between a mother and her children is eternal. This is a love that doesn’t go away just because a life has ended. The love between you and your mom will last forever regardless if she is physically here with you. Your mother’s love is with you throughout everything that you do. She is a part of you.

She is proud of you

You are still her baby. She is still your biggest fan. She still has a front row seat to your life and all of your accomplishments. She may be a little further away, but she is still right there.

You are the luckiest person to have had the greatest mom for as long as you did.

She will always be with you Heart & Memories.

In Memory Of My Mam Card

Dear my sweet, sweet angel,

It feels like yesterday that I lost you, but also like forever at the same time. The more days that pass, the more I wonder how I am actually really doing this whole “life” thing without you.

I wonder how it is that I am actually surviving. I wonder how it is possible that I’m actually accomplishing all of these great things.

However, I think the answer to that is quite simple. It’s you. You are the reason. You were the strongest person on this earth and gave me all of the tools I needed to survive, without me even knowing it.

You never intended to prepare me for a life so early without you, but with just being you, you did it.

You taught me everything I needed. You showed me strength. You showed me courage. You showed me what it was like to fight with everything in you despite the negative hand that you’ve been dealt.

You showed me that there is nothing in this world that me or you couldn’t conquer.

You were my backbone while you were here on earth and frankly, you still are even from heaven. You continue to guide me everyday while making sure I continue to make the right choices. You are by my side every step of the way.

So even when life gets overwhelming and becomes to unbearable to handle without my mom here, I sit back and remember, that you are still just as close as ever, right here with me in my heart.

I know you’re watching. I know you’re proud.

I become a little more like you every single day. I become stronger. I become tougher. I become the woman you always knew I could be. I become to woman that you prepared me to be.

So even though it was never your intention that I would need to learn how to live a life without you, you did an amazing job preparing me.

I am forever thankful. You are forever with me. And I will forever and always be your baby girl.
