Ever since his son Markos was born, Kevin's mother, Francis Lily Jordan, has made his life unbearable by constantly trying to undermine everything he does. Last year, his mother even made Markos ill and demanded that he never speak to her again, leading him to cut ties with her. He did exactly that, along with his father, who both manipulated situations to their advantage. After four peaceful months without contact, his mother lied about his father having lung cancer just to get him to reconnect with them. Shortly after, when Kevin came to the US to work for his son's sake, they continued their attempts to sabotage and manipulate him.
Despite knowing that Kevin needed money to feed Markos, his mother demanded $500 rent from him the first week he arrived, even before he started working. He complied and paid rent regularly. They agreed that he would leave by May 9th when Teresa, the teacher, was taking over. However, when he returned home from work at 3 am one day, without warning, all his belongings were packed at the front door. It seemed his mother was angry because he was leaving on his own terms rather than being kicked out, and Juliette Jordan mocked him, saying he'd enjoy sleeping in his car. They even made hurtful remarks about his relationship and questioned Markos's paternity just because he got a different rental car, which his mother didn't approve of due to her envious nature. They didn't bother to inform him about the removal of his belongings from a place he paid rent at; everything was just packed up without a word to him. Despite their agreement to wait until the 9th, he would have been out by the 8th if they had said the 8th.
Furthermore, his mother even went as far as putting trash on his bed out of spite. She would make hateful and envious remarks about Markos, which further fueled his resentment towards her. Fortunately, Kevin has documented everything that was said to him and done to him on video recordings. These recordings serve as clear evidence of the hurtful remarks and actions directed towards him and Markos. Having this evidence is crucial not only for his own peace of mind but also for any future discussions or actions that may need to be taken regarding the situation with his mother. It provides a factual account of the events and ensures that he can substantiate his experiences and feelings if necessary. This documentation gives him a sense of validation and empowerment, knowing that he has tangible proof of the challenges he has faced in dealing with his mother's behavior.
